Owen Power is a seasoned renewable energy expert with over 25 years of extensive cross-functional experience in national and multinational organizations across Ireland, France, and the USA. He co-founded Enerpower in 2005 alongside his brother, Cormac Power, with a mission to deliver innovative and sustainable renewable energy solutions for commercial organizations. Under his leadership, Enerpower has grown into a leading renewable energy company in Ireland, boasting a portfolio of over 700 projects, a signed capacity of 300 MW, and 160 MW already installed. In 2024, Greenvolt Group acquired a majority stake in Enerpower, leading to the rebranding of the company as Greenvolt Next Ireland. As CEO of Greenvolt Next Ireland, Owen has set ambitious goals, including delivering 1 GW of renewable energy by 2030, thereby supporting Ireland’s national objective of sourcing 80% of its energy from renewable sources by that year. Expanding his leadership within the Greenvolt Group, Owen also serves as CEO of Greenvolt Next UK, officially launched in early 2025. The UK branch aims to achieve a project portfolio of 100 MW by 2026, with an initial investment of €20 million, reflecting the growing demand for decentralized clean energy solutions among businesses.
